Terms of use

Purpose

Arabe immersif lets you learn the Quran and the Arabic language through immersive scenes, recitations and corrections by a teacher, and chat with your loved ones with automatic translation.

Account

Chats and calls require an account created with a phone number and a name. You are responsible for the information you provide and for the use of your account.

Sheikhs and teachers

To correct their students' recitations, a sheikh sends his hafiz diploma from his profile. Once checked by the publisher, his account receives the Certified badge. Corrections are the responsibility of the person who writes them.

Scene content

Scenes, supplications and explanations are provided for learning purposes. For any religious question, refer to a qualified scholar. Automatic translations may contain errors.

Proper use

Using the app to harass, threaten, deceive or share unlawful content is forbidden. The publisher may suspend any account that breaks these rules.

Pricing and billing

The app is currently free. Paid offers may be introduced. Their price and content will be clearly shown in the app before any purchase.

In-app purchases are paid through Apple's App Store or Google Play, depending on your phone, and are subject to their terms. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel it from your Apple or Google account settings at least 24 hours before renewal.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own rules. Invoices and receipts are issued by the store where the purchase was made. The seller of the offers is DELIVERY DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY - FZCO.

Privacy

Data we process

• Your phone number, your name and, if you add one, your profile photo, so that your loved ones can find you.
• Your messages, recitations and corrections, stored on our servers so they can be delivered to the other person and shown in your chats.
• Your phone's notification token, to alert you to a message or a call.
• The scene descriptions you request.

What we do not do

• We do not look at your messages, recitations or photos.
• We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not show advertising.
• Your contacts are only used to show you who uses the app. They are not stored.

Calls

Voice calls are end-to-end encrypted: your voice goes from one phone to the other and is neither listened to nor recorded. Our servers only keep the call history (who, when, duration).

Translation and speech recognition

To translate a message or recognise what you say, the text or voice is sent to your phone's translation or speech recognition service, or to an automatic translation provider.

Security and retention

Exchanges between your phone and our servers are encrypted. Your data is kept as long as your account exists. You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data by writing to the contact address.

Intellectual property

The app, its name, logo, scenes and texts belong to DELIVERY DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY - FZCO. Quran recitations are streamed from everyayah.com and remain the property of their authors.
